Sri Guru Granth Sahib : - Personification of spiritualism, harbinger of oneness, perpetrator of humanity and peace, ever living Guru, Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

This is the only granth in the world in which the hymns of thirty-five holy men, including six Gurus have been inscribed. It is very strange that a scripture of one thousand fout hunderd and thirty pages, with so many contributions, and yet there is no contradiction. This holy volume has been composed purely on the basis of principles and values. In this scripture one can find solutions to numerous problems exerting on the world, such as discrimination based on race, class and creed and the race for atomic weapons. It is the source of lasting peace to the mind and solace to the spirit. By following the preaching of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji one can live a happy life and can also help others live happily.

Long ago the great Gurus gave indications of the epidemics and diseases that would inflict upon the world, like small-pox and gave information about the vast Universe. The scientists have now proved what the Gurus wrote in the scriptures long ago. Insinuations of some of the social changes brought about in the society today such as, upliftment of women and downtrodden can be found in the granth written ages ago. It conveys the message of brotherhood and sacrifice. In it we can also find the foundation of the Red-Cross. The tenth Guru appreciated the services rendered by Bhai Ghanaya Singh Ji, when in the battle field he served the wounded soilders whole heartedly, even if they belonged to the camp. The granth also preaches hate the evil and not the evil doer.

Thus, it is an old granth having universal and ever lasting influence, directing people to live peaceful and happy lives.
