Happy Mayday! I think... But anyway, I woke up early today which was nice,
and two Juniors whom we know called and asked if I Nat or I wanted to
got to Uwajimaiya, Nat was still sleepy so I went with them and another friend.
I had a great time, didn't really get anything except food...
and two bottles of Ramune, a Japanese cola like drink, clear and it comes in a
cool bottle, and a marble in the neck of the bottle.
Later that day, they invited me to come and watch Utena with them (they both
love it), so we did, along with 3 other people. Anime
is much more interesting when you are watching it with a group! Didn't get
to finish all 30-something episodes,
but it was already 1am and we had been watching since around 6pm ... eheh.. fun
times
Had my Japanese midterm today, and work last night. I studied with a guy
in my class for about 2 hours, wasn't any help at all, made me more
nervous if anything. Still sick damn it, next year I am going to be more
prepared!! I was studding before we started calling at work... oh,
and
for those who don't know, my job is at US for SU which means I get to call and
ask for donations from Alums and friends. I like working
on Tuesdays better than Thursdays I get to talk to people who have already
given, rather than the eeeevil ones who haven't
and get pissy when you call them that is if they even answer the damned phone...
lesson here, be nice to students calling
from schools, they don't like being yelled at!
Skipped classes today to recover, and because I am kind of sick, god I hope this
doesn't last the whole week... anyway, me and my roommate Nat
and going to Rit Aid or Bartels to get out pictures developed which ever cost
less... checked my bank account today... and the grand total
after the Con... $9.97!!! Oh gods, I am going to need to work my
extra days at work to make up for this!!
Got back from Sakura Con alive... Yippy! I have three rolls of film to
develop, so as soon as I get money to, I will be scanning them and writing my
own
small Con report, really really small, mostly posting the winners to the
AMV's and my own highlights, seeing as this was my first Con ever
I am still kind of in shock and still recovering! I can't wait till next
years con!
Sakura Con is tomorrow!! Oh gods know I am going to forget something... I wonder
how much $ I will have left after?
