oo 23/09/06 - We're off to Bury + Manchester tomorrow. Unfortunately the acoustic show @ Roadkill had been cancelled. Sorry to people who were gonna come and see us there. We'll see you at the Star and Garter on Monday night instead. Cheers.

oo 05/09/06 - Hometown show in Newbury this Friday @ the Monument. Free entry too and a great line up (check the flier out on the gigs page). Last Friday's Reading show was major fun and we're going to be back there in November apparently. More gigs to be confirmed soon - for December and in January we've been asked to play a major fun night with 5 bands all doing 10 songs - all covers as well. Sounds like a riot so of course we've agreed. We wrote a new song last night called "The Dead Song" (it's more of a tribute don't worry). We do have the album title nearly agreed on...promise! Also, check out You Tube for some rehearsal videos - links coming soon! Oh and Mr. T would like us to point out that he was part of the winning team in the South Coast punk scene 6-a-side football tournament last weekend, playing for the Cat N Cakey Records team. Cheers - see you on Friday in Newbury!

oo 30/05/06 - Thanks to everyone who made it along to the last minute show yesterday @ The Fringe Festival in Newbury. Thank fuck the weather held out for us, shame about the organisation of the whole thing really. Not telling us they wanted us to play and advertising the fact we were playing, bit of luck that someone spotted it and told us really. Still it was a good laugh and thanks to all of you for supporting us and of course all those cool kids who came and got a cd afterwards, poor Ern was mobbed! Reading this Saturday night and it's an important event so please do try and get along to it! We're also going to announce a pretty cool show soon - but we're just waiting 100% confirmation, but as soon as we get it - it'll be posted here - so do keep checking back everyone! Cheers.

We're also looking into getting back into the studio to cut a new e.p. - three more tracks - these look like being "Year 2 Year", "The Ballad of Michael Moore" (formerly "Fuck The System") and maybe "If your name is Carl..." - but this will be confirmed when we've decided. So check out the gigs and come see us. Updates as soon as we can and all of you chasing us up for the wibbley wobbler photos, sorry for the delay, they'll be up when we can, blame BT+Tiscali for it.

oo 21/04/06 - Been a great month for shows apart from Kingston - where two bands (The Cunts + Idiots Intoxicated) lived up to their names and fucked up the show for everyone. Quite a few more local shows coming up soon as well and we've got a bundle of stuff in the pipeline, which we're hoping to get confirmed soon. I know we've got loads of pictures to upload and loads of cool wibbley wobbler shots - they'll be up as soon as we can. oo 20/01/06 - NEWS - We've got a last minute show confirmed tomorrow night in our hometown, Newbury. So make sure you come along.

oo 30/11/05 - WELCOME ERN!!! Yeah the one they call Ern has joined the ranks of Second In Line as the new bass player. Of course Ern is a local legend round Newbury and has been around the SIL scene for ages and it's cool to have him on board. Expect Ern to make his live debut in the new year! Also we've had some excellent feedback on the demo - so look out for more news soon, loads of things happening potentially!

oo 26/11/05 - The new tracks are all mixed and sounding sweet. Details of release will be announced soon. Also the SIL boys will be in London tonight supporting label mates Robben Island.

oo 09/11/05 - We're in the studio today! Hoping to get 3 tunes down - Brewsters Millions, Fonzi and a brand new tune (written last night) called Bouncers Dream Sequence. We'll be booking some shows again soon, but for now we're working on new songs and also the bass player situation - which will be resolved very soon.

oo 14/10/05 - The new CD is fully mixed and sounds pretty fookin kick ass! We're writing new tunes too and recording again on Nov 9th!

oo 12/09/05 - Second In Line played a very last minute show last Friday night @ the Monument pub in Newbury. Cheers to Simon for asking us and everyone who was there! We're in the studio on Wednesday recording a couple of tunes.

oo 02/09/05 - Last night we managed to not only write a new song (as yet untitled) but we also recorded a few tracks live in the studio. We'll get the results some time next week, not sure how they'll come out but was good to get them down. Tracks were: Joanie Loves Chachi, Fonzi, Left Behind, Doh, Style, Divan, Being Around, Karma, Only Fools (which was stupidly faster than normal at the start), the new song (very rough version) and of course the Bup Bup Song. If the results came out reasonable expect to hear some of them up here soon. Hopefully we'll have our new bass player soon too!

oo 26/08/05 - RECORDING!!! Second In Line will be in the studio on Sept 14th. We're planning on putting two tracks down "Joanie Loves Chachi" and "Left behind". Also time permitting maybe a "Bup Bup Song" and more.... we'll see! But stay tuned for more details on the session and mp3's!

oo 17/08/05 - Swindon was a major fuck up then! Long story, we won't go into it! Also, it's typical that we get offered all these shows and it's when we're on our holidays! I blame Gareth and the fact that he won a free trip to Costa Rica! Anyways we have a bundle of shows to confirm soon, so hopefully some more gig dates will be posted. Also we are now under the banner of Flint Promotions. More on this soon!

oo 12/08/05 - Cheers to those who made it to Colorz last night - Swindon tonight!

oo 11/08/05 - Show tonight in Reading - please come along! Also tomorrow night we're going to be rocking @ The Queens Tap in Swindon - expect a nice long set tomorrow!

oo 08/08/05 - Oi Oi! We should be able to announce some pretty sweet news soon! Also, we're in the early stages of sorting out a tour with The Mayflys from Ipswich during October, so check the gigs page out for any updates as and when we get them! Shows this weekend in Reading + Swindon.
We're slowly getting the site closer to being 100% sorted, we need to update the discography section for example. But go buy the Evan Dando / Lemonheads tribute CD here: www.evandando.co.uk/tribute.htm

oo 28/07/05 - Thanks to everyone in Bethnal Green last Friday (especially Stu + Roo), great night. Slowly sorting the site out, and we're after a bass player.

oo 22/07/05 - Cheers to Bex + Russ for last night, awesome fun! We've also started a new section which will be on the site fully - the Second In Line Wibbley Wobblers. Check it out here - we'll be uploading them all soon and keeping it updated as and when we add. We'll also be adding another picture section soon,so keep checking back!
We're in Bethnal Green tonight - so come see us!

oo 21/07/05 - SHOW TONIGHT @ The Peel in Kingston. And also tomorrow night @ The Pleasure Unit in Bethnal Green. Please come along to the shows. Tonight's show is gonna be awesome as Sidewalkriot are on the bill too. Tomorrow is the official launch night of "Squealing Fans In My Tune Volume Two", which features our version of Being Around on it. Also we're gonna be giving away a limited cd-r of 30 copies of "Divan" with inital purchases of the tribute cd. So come along and get your grubby little mits on them! Also big thanks go out to Catbird + Kirsty @ Total Rock Radio for the shout outs this morning!
In other news, we're hoping to announce our new bass player very soon and we're going to start booking some shows, writing some new tunes and hopefully recording some tracks either for the long awaited album or at least an e.p.

oo 12/07/05 - We're now starting to book shows up, so check the gigs page out for upcoming events...

oo 08/07/05 - It's been a trying time recently. The show with No Comply was crazy, we broke down on the M25 and never made the show which sucked, then we got told that Pennywise were gonna be playing the show so we were doubly gutted, it turns out they didn't and it was gonna be Anti Flag anyways. We also finally played a comeback show up in Saxmundham and had loads of fun. We have also played a couple of shows this month as Snatch which were great fun too. We're currently getting sorted for the Lemonheads tribute CD release night - details here - and then we'll be looking at getting a new bass player in, writing some new songs, recording an e.p. and then playing shows galore (hopefully!).

oo 21/06/05 - THE LATEST NEWS!!!
Loads of updates for you all. The main news is that we are going to be playing live again very soon! In fact we'll be playing in Canterbury with No Comply on June 28th. Although we are billed as Snatch (the band featuring Gareth, Mr. T and Ben Example from Bad Day Down - Dan will also be drumming for Snatch for their few shows). Snatch will be playing a few shows early July - check the site out here: www.snatchsnatch.co.uk - for all details.
Also we have been confirmed as having a song feature on the upcoming Lemonheads/Evan Dando tribute Cd called "Squealing Fans In My Tune - vol 2". They have chosen our cover of "Being Around" and to coincide with the CD release we will be appearing at the launch party on July 22nd @ the Pleasure Unit in Bethnal Green, London.
We are still going to recruit a full time bass player - we have 2 people interested right now and will announce the latest SIL family member soon!
We're also going to be sorting the website out, so please be patient with is as we do! Cheers and see you at the shows! We've also finally got a proper web address instead of the free domain name - so we're now at: www.secondinline.co.uk

oo 22/04/05 - FINALLY AN UPDATE!!!
Yes, after months of nothing Second In Line have finally actually done something! Wonders will never cease! The band (Mr. T: guitar + sore lungs, Gareth: bass + voice + Dan: drums) actually spent a day in a recording studio. The band have recorded their own unique versions of 2 Lemonheads tracks for possible inclusion on a forthcoming tribute cd. They had a crack at "Being Around" and "Divan". We would love to be able to get the tracks online but this would of course jeopardise sales of the tribute cd, in the future there will be something up. But the session went really well and the band are all keen to get back in there and cut a few more songs as soon as they can. We're also hoping to re-do the website in the coming weeks (or probably months knowing us) with loads of updates all over!
Also in associated news: Dan + Mr. T are now moonlighting in a new band called "Even If It Kills" - www.evenifitkills.com and also Gareth and Mr. T will be reuniting with long time band member Ben for a series of Snatch shows in June + July this year. Dates will be finalised and confirmed soon!

oo 24/01/05 - Sorry about the lack of updates. Anyways the news is that the band will be back rehearsing from next week. With a 3 man line up at present of: Gareth (guitar + voice), Mr. T (bass + backing voice) + Dan Hazard (drums). If anyone is interested in trying out for bass duties, please drop Mr. T a line on mrt@on-trial.org as the band are looking to recruit. They will be booking shows soon and already have a slot in Liverpool druing May. We're expecting a new sound and a full out Second In line assault! More news as and when we get it from the lads.

oo 02/12/04 - Second In Line will be back and playing shows from February (we hope). The final line up of the band is not 100% clear. We're hoping Chris will take up the bass duties once again but if not we have a couple of top blokes in mind for the position. Gareth will be back in the country on Dec 12th and him and Mr. T will be writing some new songs. Mr. T is still out playing shows with ON TRIAL and they have a few shows left during December. So go check them out, they've been busy playing with bands like Leftover Crack, GBH, Vice Squad, 4Ft Fingers and more. In fact on Dec 11th they support The Business at the Boxing Club in Reading and play the Reading Fez on Dec 22nd with the Coffin Nails.
We are also pleased to announce a new member of the Second In Line family, Mr. Dan Hazard will be joining us on drums from January. We look forward to ensuring Dan is a true member of the family by ensuring he drinks lots of beer and eats dodgy take aways all over the country with us as once again we seem to visit too many motorway service stations. Welcome aboard!

oo 08/09/04 - UPDATE!!! The news is that Second In Line will be back and rocking later this year. Gareth is now due back mid December so the band will probably be out playing shows early next year. Expect a new set, loads of new tunes which have been worked on during the break and also the band are hoping to record an album pretty soon for a future release. So if you're a promoter and have dates available for next year already, please drop us a line on farqrecs@hotmail.com and book us!
Mr. T is still currently playing in On Trial - they are playing a bundle more shows through the rest of this year, so go catch them. Also, Chris has been moonlighting in a band called Sod's Law and we'll get details on them when we can. Alex is still M.I.A.

oo 01/06/04 - Just a quick update on the SIL lads. Gareth is in Australia travelling and appaarently his missus Becka is making him do lots of walking, which knowing Gareth means he's doing it begrudgingly. Mr. T is playing in a band called On Trial, they've played a few shows and have more booked up. Their website can be checked out at www.on-trial.org. Chris and Alex are still Confusing Phill (poor Phill) as far as we know. And yes Chris is turning into an emo kid. So if anyone can donate a hankie for him, please let us know!

oo 06/04/04 - We've completed the final updates to the site. Live pictures from Reading + Hounslow are up and more in the studio pictures section too. As we say, this is not the end of Second In Line, just a break while Gareth is on his travels, we will be back in 2005. Thanks to everyone who supported the band, came to see us, the promoters who put us on, the bands we played with and the friends we've made. Cheers.

oo 29/03/04 - Uploaded live pix from the Newbury show last week. Thanks to Andrew Culture for them. Also added the picture in the local paper on the studio pix page. The Bournemouth show was a good laugh, cheers to Stu from Cherry Atrium + those crazy lads from Zero Tolerance. The pictures will be up soon, just that we've got way too many good ones and can only put 7 pictures up (Jodie took way too many as per usual - ha ha ha!). So we have just two shows left until Gareth leaves to head off travelling. Come see us in Reading on Thursday with Abdoujaparov (Fruitbat from Carter USM's new project) it should be a great night.

oo 26/03/04 - Tomorrow night we will be a 3 piece once again, although Alex is around and could play we haven't been able to practice so we're going to be just 3. The final two shows next week will feature all 4 of us though don't worry! Andrew from Junk Culture has made a little video from some of the footage he shot on the mini jaunt, this has been uploaded and can be viewed by clicking here - so check it out!

oo 24/03/04 - Some live pictures are up now and some more in the studio pictures section as well. April 3rd will be the last Second In Line show for a while as Gareth is off to New Zealand for a few months. When he gets back we will also be back. The live dates after that will be filled by Mr. T's new band - details and website soon. Chris + Alex can be seen in Confusing Phill. I must stress that we are NOT splitting up, we're having a break while Gareth is away and we will be back as soon as he returns.

oo 23/03/04 - I'm afraid we've decided to pull out of the Plymouth show on Thursday, there are many reasons for this which we won't go into but sorry and we'll see you down the seaside in sunny Bournemouth on Saturday.

oo 22/03/04 - We're back! That was an awesome weekend, Thom even joined us on bass again for the Newbury show. Pictures will be coming soon and the band diary has been updated! Cheers Junk Culture! Also thanks to Andrew (JC) and Ern for joining us for a song!

oo 18/03/04 - Ok our weekend jaunt starts tomorrow - hope some of you can come out and see us. It looks as if the final show will be in April - at least until Gareth comes back from New Zealand. Alex and Chris can still be seen during this time in Newbury punk band Confusing Phill and Mr. T will be playing shows with a new project (which is quite hush hush right now) but they will be debuting their live show in May. More details when we get them off him. But see you sometime this weekend for some drunken punk mayhem.

oo 16/03/04 - Bad News - We've just had the show in Liverpool cancelled, something to do with the gas board apparently - bit of a gutter as we were all looking forward to going to Liverpool for the first time. We're going to see if we can swing anything else for that night, you never know!

oo 12/03/04 - We have a new show confirmed in Reading on April 10th. We're also hoping to head into a studio next month to record as many songs as we can fit in. The plan is to get together with some other bands and release it as a split. The other big news is that Gareth has been offered a great opportunity to work for around 6 months in New Zealand which means he's off in Mid-May. We're not 100% sure what will happen with the band right now, we may go into hibernation or we might continue in some form, but rest assured we are not splitting up. I think we'll add a new member to the band and then when Gareth returns play as a five piece, obviously we'll keep this site updated with all news.

oo 11/03/04 - Some bad news today --- Alex isn't able to make the tour dates due to last minute college commitments. So we're going to have to play the shows as a three piece. We apologise in advance, but we'll do our best and try to rock. Cheers.

oo 08/03/04 - Cheers to Daf + everyone @ the Hunt Sabs for the show on Friday, we had a great night and hope loads of cash was raised. Gareth enjoyed the organic beer and might have had one or two too many. We had to play the show as a three piece as Alex couldn't make it with Chris back on drums, Gareth + Mr. T switching between bass and guitar duties. There are a few pictures up from the show. Next up is the small 4 show tour with Junk Culture.

oo 01/03/04 - We've run out of space again on the site - so we're going to have to sort it out - mainly the live pictures section, so be patient and we'll get it done asap. We've got a bundle of things on the site to sort out + update. New pictures will be up when this is completed. Thanks to everyone on Friday in Birmingham - Rich Lard for putting us on, PK from Dogshit Sandwich for taking photos + Ardcore Andy for being a top man! The Plymouth show has been postponed, we're now due to be playing with Howards Alias + Desa (ex-Link 80) at the end of March, details on the show page. Next show in this coming Friday in Reading - Hunt Sabs benefit - be there!

oo 25/02/04 - More show news today. The March 8th show in Plymouth with Adequate 7 has been confirmed. Tickets are £3 advance and £4 on the door apparently, so that's a bargain. We're playing in Birmingham on Friday, doors are at 8pm and with 4 bands for just £3 it's another sale of the century. Shows added today are a September date in Kidderminster and a TBC in Southampton.

oo 19/02/04 - A great show added on March 5th in Reading. We're playing a benefit for the Reading Hunt Sabs. These guys do great work and we're really proud we can help them in some way - so we'd really appreciate everyone coming down and supporting both us and the cause. Doors are at 8pm and it's just £4 for 4 bands!

oo 16/02/04 - Bad news - Sunday's show in Swindon has been cancelled - sorry about this!

oo 09/02/04 - Another update today then as we have confirmed the Feb 22nd show in Swindon.

oo 09/02/04 - New show added in April supporting Abdoujaparov (Fruitbat from Carter USM's new band!) (Mr. T is dead chuffed with this slot). Also we might be adding a date on Feb 22nd (although it would be as a 3 piece) we'll let you know. Cheers.

oo 03/02/04 - Another new month in the life of Second In Line is here. Friday's show was a good laugh and the pictures are up here. We've only got 1 show this motnh at the end due to trying to work on some new material ready for the shows next month. We'll be trying some of the new stuff out in Birmingham. We also might have another line up change, we're thinking of becoming a 5 piece with Gareth going onto just vocals, we'll keep you updated on that. In other news we've been provisionally included on a compilation which will be available all over the world and we've chosen to cover Belinda Carlisle's "Heaven Is A Place On Earth" - more details as and when we get them.

oo 28/01/04 - Pictures pages have been update both live and studio pictures.

oo 27/01/04 - Pictures from Swindon will be up soon, Birmingham show in Feb all confirmed and details in the live dates page.

oo 21/01/04 - We're getting there with shows being added, a couple of the tbc's have been confirmed up which is cool. New songs coming soon as well.

oo 19/01/04 - A couple more shows have been added, one at the end on this month. Shows that say TBC are 95% confirmed and as soon as we have final details they will be posted.

oo 16/01/04 - April show confirmed in Manchester. Next up: Swindon.

oo 15/01/04 - More live dates to be confirmed very soon - potential places are Manchester and Plymouth - details to come.

oo 08/01/04 - As we expected, the tour dates are changing all the time. We're still waiting for some confirmations but roughly know where we will be playing. So keep an eye on this site!

oo 05/01/04 - New Year and news! We were booked into record Jan 17th-19th in Liverpool but we've cancelled it and it should be re-confirmed in February. Some new gigs posted and a small tour is currently being sorted with Junk Culture for March, six dates around the UK, so check the shows page for more details as they come in we'll add them.

oo 23/12/03 - We're finished for the year then gigwise. We're also not booking much for the first couple of months next year as we're finally going into a studio to record. We think it'll be either mid Jan or mid Feb, we're just awaiting confirmation and then we'll be heading all the way to Liverpool to lay down some tracks. We're also working on some new songs during the next couple of months. Thanks to Lil and Dirty Pink & Blue for a great time in Manchester last Sunday, and to the Zero Pretties once again. We did indeed dress up in Santa suits and pictures are here so check them out. Have a great Christmas and New Year and we'll see you all next year, ready to rock!

oo 15/12/03 - Cheers to Ant Music + all the other bands in London on Saturday night, was a great show. Next up is another trek up north for us to Manchester again. New live pictures are online already!

oo 12/12/03 - Hope to see ya tomorrow night in London, it's gonna rock! We're on at 9pm. Also the lovely chaps from Wake The Dead have given us our very own forum so join up and post message and check the site out here!

oo 02/12/03 - That was an amazing weekend, Manchester rocked - thanks to the Zero Pretties and Bliss. Also cheers to Tonia from Zero Pretties who said she'd take a couple of pictures for us and took 63!!! We've only put 14 up and also the pictures from Oxford - check them out here. A few shows are starting to come in for next year, but we might not be playing as much due to finally getting the album recorded, then we'll be out playing as much as we can to promote it.

oo 30/11/03 - Alex made his live debut in Oxford last night, which rocked. Cheers to the lads from Phinius Gage - always a pleasure to see them. We're all the way up North tonight in Manchester - see ya there!

oo 27/11/03 - We've updated the discography section. Far Q Records have also issued a limited run of promotional cd-r's with 2 live tracks on which will be free at shows from us while stocks last of course.

oo 24/11/03 - The live pictures from Friday are up - 2 shows this weekend, Oxford & Manchester.

oo 22/11/03 - Ipswich was awesome last night - cheers to Junk Culture + the lads from All Else Fails - another memorable night up there. Oxford & Manchester next weekend - probably both as a three piece until Alex is ready to rock it live!

oo 20/11/03 - We're playing in Ipswich tomorrow night, we'll be a 3 piece and Alex should me making his debut next weekend. We have a new show confirmed next Friday night (Nov 29th) in Oxford. We are supporting Farse, Phinius Gage and Hedroom - so do come and see us.

oo 19/11/03 - We're now on the listings for the Garage show on the Mean Fiddler website - check out details by clicking here! Make sure you're there this is one show that should not be missed. More 2004 shows to be confirmed in due course.

oo 17/11/03 - The live pictures from Friday are now online and there has been an update on fanzone.

oo 15/11/03 - We are now NOT appearing tonight in Newbury, due to the date being brought forward and Chris's work rota being set so he was off next weekend. Really annoying, but if venues will mess up their diaries! Luckily Mr. T phoned up to check details and they told him otherwise we'd all be there next week. We played in Bath last night - cheers to Roy & George from Hacksaw, Shawn & Fruit of the Doom and those 2 Sick Monkeys, was a great night. We played as a three piece with Mr. T and Gareth sharing bass/guitar duties and Chris back on the drums. We're not sure which line up will be playing upcoming gigs but we'll rock our hardest for you. In other news, Mr. T will be making his solo debut (seems to think he's Billy Bragg or something) on Dec 12th in Birmingham. Go heckle him. First show for 2004 has been pencilled in, cheers to 2 Sick Monkeys (who are playing in Newbury tonight in our slot - cheers lads). More to come. Cheers.

oo 07/11/03 - Loads of news. We had the first rehearsal with Alex last night and it went pretty well. The main news is next weeks show has been changed. We are now playing in Bath that night and not Birmingham. So come see us in sunny Bath. The other thing is the Newbury show might not feature us after all as due to the venue messing around and bringing it forward Chris may have to work. We're hoping he can swing it so he doesn't - we'll let you know if we have to pull out. We're also getting some new badges made up - 3 new deisgns, picture will be up soon - so make sure you get one from us at a gig or something. And finally we have been invited over to play a handful of shows in Sweden next year, we'll let you all know when it's confirmed.

oo 04/11/03 - Just to let ya know of a change to the hometown show - it's been brought forward by a week to Nov 15th! Also complete different line up now because of that, including the mighty Glueball. See ya there!

oo 27/10/03 - The Kidderminster show has been cancelled. We got an e-mail from the venue, something to do with the council and licensing. All shows are cancelled there until further notice, so we're not sure what's going to happen with the December date there right now, we'll let ya know.

oo 23/10/03 - BIG NEWS!!! We are pleased to welcome Alex into Second In Line. Alex becomes the ninth member of the band and will take the role of drums with Chris moving onto bass duties. Alex may be making his debut at the Kidderminster show - if not Birmingham and Kidderminster will be as a three piece. So welcome Alex!

oo 23/10/03 - We have enough website for now, Mr. T has spent ages sorting the stuff online out so this site isn't full up yet. There are no fliers up though, they will be coming later. The other problem is we host this with Brinkster and they have informed us that they are going to be putting adverts on the site! This sucks, we might pay for a new host soon so there are no adverts, we're looking into it.

oo 20/10/03 - The pictures from Wokingham are online now, go check them out. We're running out of webspace so need to find a solution soon, so updates might be minimal for a little while. We will keep the news section updated though. Kidderminster up next.

oo 19/10/03 - Show in Wokingham last night was awesome, cheers to Born Stupid. That was one of the most fun shows we've played and Mr. T even played bass for a Born Stupid encoure. It was Thom's last performance with Second In Line and we wish him all the best. We're sorry to see him go and hope to announce details on our new member soon. But if we're not ready for the shows with him, we'll be playing as a three piece with Mr. T on bass duties. Pictures from last night will be online tomorrow.

oo 17/10/03 - That went better than we thought it would last night as Gareth and Mr. T took to an acoustic and an electric to entertain Maidenhead. A few pictures are up.

oo 16/10/03 - It's gonna be a weird one tonight. Chris has had alot of problems and can't make tonight's show. We thought we might have to pull out which would majorly suck, but the show must go on. Mr. T and Gareth will play a set as just the two of them tonight, we're not sure how yet, whether it'll be 2 electric as normal guitars, acoustic or what - not even they know but they will be doing something that's for sure. So it could be the best thing since sliced bread or it could be an utter shambles, so get along and witness this one off (we hope) two piece Second In Line.
Also, Saturday's show we have been informed is a private party so sorry about that, but if ya name ain't down you ain't coming in!

oo 10/10/03 - Pictures from last night in Andover are online now!

oo 08/10/03 - Andover tomorrow night! See ya there. New show has been confirmed at the Garage in London on Dec 13th. Gonna be a blinding night with DJ's and a club night till 3am!

oo 06/10/03 - Gareth is allowed in public again, so we will be playing in Andover next Thursday at the George Inn. We appreciate all the offers to fill Thom's place in the band and will announce the new member to the Second In Line family in due course. As stated, the current line up will continue until the end of this month and then we have a couple of weeks to try and get ready for shows with the new member, whom should be making his/her debut at the Birmingham show on Nov 14th.

oo 02/10/03 - Today gets worse and worse!!! First Gareth is taken ill and then the bad news comes - unfortunately due to college commitments Thom is going to have to leave the band, this sucks as he's an awesome bassist and bloke. Thom will be playing the shows during October with his finale being the October 30th show in Kidderminster, so please come out and give him a massive send off. This means we're on the lookout for a new bass player and are gonna be auditioning. If you're interested then drop some details on an e-mail to sil@farqrecs.com. So move fast if you're interested.

oo 02/10/03 - A show in Manchester has been added. Unfortunately we will not be playing tonight in Swindon. Gareth is so damn punk rock that he's been told by the medics that he is as good as quarantined and shouldn't be in public places!!! We're not gonna get into the details but he ain't in a good state and I am sure you all wish him a speedy recovery in time for the next show in Andover, next week! Sorry once again.

oo 01/10/03 - Another new month in Second In Line life - show tomorrow in Swindon. Kinda updated the merch page - as most stuff is sold out!!! But we still got a few t-shirts so get them quickly!!!

oo 26/09/03 - Kidderminster last night was awesome, pictures are up already.

oo 25/09/03 - The boy fixed it - all but the fliers page, which we'll re-do at some point - so that's cool - now we know why we keep the web nerd around and on the other side of the world! Anyways, show tonight in Kidderminster. Updated both picture pages as well from the Forum show.

oo 25/09/03 - Hey folks, web nerd here! Sorry for the outage over the last few days. I thought I had made some irrepairable damage but after some hard(core) thinking I found it all. Wow, what wonderful thing the internet is. Well, I'm off to throw another (soy) shrimp on the barbie, g'day!

oo 23/09/03 - The site will take ages to get back online properly - it looks bare and old right now. The contact and audio pages are kind of back with more info - the pictures will take forever but, we are working on it I assure you. Next show is this Thursday in Kidderminster and once again the Worcester show has been cancelled - promoter having problems galore up there, but we aim to make it there as soon as he can sort a new venue out without any interfering rival promoters working against him. It's support the scene for most but for others it's very much in it for themselves and we don't support that. New pages on the site include discography and band diary, although they don't link from this page yet - every other page though!

oo 22/09/03 - This is going to be a long and painful process getting the site back up to date - we have lost 8 months of updates on every single page! The history and gigs page are back so far, that's it - we're working on the others. Sorry.

oo 22/09/03 - Show yesterday was amazing - more soon. BUT - the website has as good as been lost - pages have gone amiss and old versions are online - our web dude knows what he did and is fixing the problem, but please be patient, he's lost about 6 months of updates!

oo 20/09/03 - Trying to fix the gigs page - I (Mr. T) have sat here and tried to remember as much as I can - I know I've got all the shows we've played right, not all the bands we've played with though. Also, we're not sure what gigs we have coming up - tried our best to remember them all. See you in London @ The Forum tomorrow with Anti Flag!!!!

oo 20/09/03 - Sorry the gigs page is currently down, we're looking at getting the problem fixed as soon as possible - sorry about this!

oo 20/09/03 - Forum tomorrow, Napalm Death have pulled out which is a shame, but still an amazing line up and gonna be a great day. We were going to be doing a three day jaunt with our buddies Junk Culture from Ipswich in December but now we're only playing 2 of the dates due to Gareth going to see Maiden. The Dec 11th show has been confirmed in Kidderminster. The Dec 13th show will be confirmed very soon. So check back.

oo 18/09/03 - Changes to the live dates - updated online now. More to be announced as soon as they are confirmed. See you at the Forum.

oo 11/09/03 - Reading tonight has been cancelled last minute, something to do with builders. Sorry if you turned up to see us - we're gutted. We've been added to the bill of the Gathering of the thousand at the Forum, Kentish Town, London on Sept 21st. We're playing on the bill with Anti Flag, Napalm Death and Conflict amongst others! Full details on the shows page - but make sure you all come along, this is going to be an absolutely amazing day. We have some tickets for sale too, so contact us should you wanna purchase. We're still buzzing with this news!

oo 10/09/03 - Gig tomorrow night in Reading - come along! Also confirmed Xmas show in Manchester which is gonna rock! More shows coming soon - possible big one! Fingers crossed!

oo 04/09/03 - Bad news and good news! Bad news is that the show in Worcester has been cancelled tomorrow night. We're still waiting to hear why. The good news is that we have a show in Reading confirmed next week. So make sure you come see us!

oo 01/09/03 - The live pictures from Birmingham have been added - new month upon us and we're going to try and confirm news of recording the album as soon as we can. Next show - Worcester this coming Friday.
