The people of Foldmuves work hard, and they play hard as well. There's always bad-weather time for music, art, literature, and the like -- if the weather's good enough, our people would rather be competing. Mind you, the competition tends towards "friendly" rather than "rabid". There's exceptions -- cross-country horseshoe matches get tense, as do some football or jai-alai games. Darts tourneys, odd for a relaxed bar-sport, are deadly serious. Most play, though, is just that: play. Hard-fought games followed by backslapping and drinks all around.

Many organized sporting endeavors in the Republic are grouped together in the "Federation of Federations" system. Those umbrella groups we list first, followed by the ones specific to one sport or even one event within a sport. The groupings aren't always logical.

Competition is usually regional, to the extent that some normal matches are cross-border affairs with nearby Szereloi, Smaliean, or Dewaconian teams, with "National Titles" only awarded in after-season play.
