The Dunmore Estate covers 1200 acres of superb countryside along 3 miles of the north shore of West Loch Tarbert, south of Lochgilphead in Argyll. Much of this area has been chosen by The Nature Conservancy Council as a place of special interest because of the abundant wildlife and the sub-tropical plants that flourish there.
There are boats and dinghies available for hire; a 9 - hole golf-course ten minutes away, sea and loch-fishing, riding and tuition; and a selection of local pubs and good restaurants around Tarbert some 7 miles away - plus the chance to visit the Islands of Islay, Gigha and Arran.
