A wind turbine nearby to a factory at the Amsterdam suburb (do you know that companies such as Unilever, Heineken, Shell and Philips originated from this country?) It is the 16th largest economy in the world.

Me at the Amsterdam Centraal (Central Station). The station was opened in 1889.

People parked their bicycles outside the Amsterdam Centraal station to commute to work

A very mini car!

Me at the statue of Prins Hendrik der Nederlanden (Prince Henry of the Netherlands) 1820-1879 in central Amsterdam

Walking around the red light district in Amsterdam (I found out that gay marriage is actually legal in the Netherlands!). Other liberal policies include drugs is not a crime and euthanasia is also legal.

One of the famous city canals in Amsterdam (do you know that 50% of the land area in the Netherlands are less than 1 meter above the sea level?)

What a mini lorry van! Made of a scooter perhaps!

A nice spot to take a picture...!

Cruising along the Amsterdam canals

A parking complex for ....?

Bicycles! Yes, thousands of people park their bicycles in this central cycle park building and they cycle around the city to work! No traffic jam!
