Busy traffic at Hanoi's Old Quarter. With a population of over 85 million, Vietnam is the 13th most populous country in the world.

Visiting a night market (near Dong Xuan market) in the heart of the Old Quarter district. It opens for business every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening.

A group picture at the King Dinh temple in the Hoa Lu District, Ninh Binh province. The temple was built in the 17th century and Hoa Lu is the ancient capital of Vietnam.

Local people praying inside the King Dinh temple. There are more than 54 ethnic minorities throughout the country. In its early history, Vietnamese writing used Chinese characters. Today, 85% of Vietnamese are Buddhists.

Rowing boats at Tam Coc in the Ning Binh province! Tam Coc means “three caves”. The boat excursion takes us through rice paddy fields and towering limestone mountain peaks.

Ah Lai, Teck Fang and myself at the village of Van Lam, beginning our boat adventure of Tam Coc!
