International Throw Bowling Association Wall Protection Device Specifications



The only time a Wall Protection Device will be considered legal in sanctioned league play and tournament play is


1) When space between the highest point of legal playing area and out of bounce area above legal playing area is less then 1.FT in length.

2) Excessive damage is done to the following REGARDLES of space above playing area DURING SANCTIONED ITBA, MTBA, YTBA, LEAGUE, TOURNAMENT PLAY ONLY.

A) Delicate Fixtures IE - Lights, Decor, Computer Screens, Etc.

Only during sanctioned ITBA, MTBA, YTBA, Are you allowed to put up Wall Protection Devises for Rule #2a) Damage done during open bowling is the bowling centers responsibility.

1) Device shall be placed no more then 8 inches above Legal Playing Area and no less then 2 inches.

2) Device shall NOT Exceed More then 2 feet in Length over legal playing area.

3) Device Shall NOT hang down over playing area.

4) Device Will Be NO MORE then 2 centimeters in Thickness.

5) Device Shall be Made of the following materials ONLY

A) Clear (Or not to effect playing area with foreign color) PlexiGlass

No Light Fixtures, Decor, Etc. Shall be allowed to stick through said device.


Approved Wall Protection Device Measurements


DEVICE WILL BE 65 INCHES IN LENGTH PER COURT

DEVICE WILL BE NO MORE THEN 2 CENTIMETERS IN THICKNESS

Device shall be placed no more then 8 inches above Legal Playing Area and no less then 2 inches.
