Legal Serves/Deliveries
Straight: The beginner is usually taught the straight ball delivery. The Straight throw is basically an over hand throw. What you want to do
is hold the ball with just your index, your middle finger, and your thumb, and hold it with the
2 fingers on top and the thumb on the bottom.
Backup: The Backup throw is an under arm throw, the ball is held the same as a straight throw. Once a person has mastered a
particular approach, they should learn to throw a back-up. The back-up is thrown by releasing the ball just as you turn
your wrist clockwise.
Hook: The Hook throw is like a windmill throw that you would do in softball. A trick
to this is to snap your wrist at the end of the throw.

There are 4 types of games in throw bowl
Singles- Two players deliver legal throws in a match to 15 points
Doubles- In this type of game you use all regular rules stated with an exception; instead of
one player there is two the first person throws the ball and in order for the second player to continue play the first
player must be off the court.
Triples: Same rules apply to triples as do doubles.
Quanza: In this type of play you have 1 person and 2 balls, you have to throw the first ball and
when it hits the wall you throw the second ball and you have to keep them going. Since this is very hard you get a bigger
target area you can hit anywhere between the blue and red sections on the wall.
